im 17 and for some unknown reason i like some of the oldie music, i mean next to audioslave i have sinatra, next to nine days dean martin etc is there anyone else who likes all that old stuff

Yeah, I'm 19 and I listen to some old stuff. Next to Transplants, I have Spanky and Our Gang (60s hippie band). Next to Metallica, I have Madonna (her 80s stuff). Next to Kylie Minogue, I have Hank Williams, Sr.
It's nothing to be ashamed of, really. We have to remember our past because especially the people who have been named in this thread already are legends. It would be a shame if they're forgotten (or just remembered by the old people).

I think its cool to like the old stuff. I mean it is obvious that some of the stuff today was majorly influenced by the stuff of yesterday. Personally I prefer the 60's like Kool and the Gang, Tower of Power, and Chicago.
