my bands name

im not gonna plug my band cos theres nothin to plug, no website or audio downloads or anything i just wana ask what y'all think of the name we finally decided on (we been a band for like 9months and have almost finished home recording our demo!!)

we decided on (DRUM ROLL)


SWIFT DELIRIUM


it was my idea too!!

we are four piece witha lead female vocalist one guitar (sumtimes 2 wen she can be arsed to play) bass and drums and we do like mb20 or nd music sometimes a bit heavier and with a female singer!!

ps everytime we say we have a girl singing people say "oooh like evanescence" no we are nothing like evanescence!!

Its going to be kinda hard to say after shots at the bar, no?

Swift (that part is easy) dellierjekjhelhnuuummmmm

yeah well we also thought the abbrecviation SD was cool, tell e if there are any sick or unpleasent other meanings you can think of for SD cause any bands that shorten their names and i dont like i easily think up names for the abbreviation, but its pretty cool, but with 6months guitar experience im playin lead (very poorly), its kinda interestin, the solos are all really slow ones cos im not that good yet to do fast ones!!

sd sounds funny as people i am sure will be "funny" and put a t in the middle

but cool name

My old band had more names then we did songs. And we had over 30 completed songs. Good name though, and I dig the whole female singer thing. We need more of those.

That sounds like a good name. I like the word swift for some reason. But anywho, good luck with the band.

We thought t was awesome having a female vocalist, although they (the rest of the band, im kinda detached cause they all work together give me a three quaters complete song with no lead guitar and i finish it by putting my bit in) announced that they wanted a heavier song for the album and shes cant cing it (girls tend not to do heavy rock music well, they either end up screaming which is not good or sounding like men, also you then have the comparisons with evanescence) so gues who is now playin lead guitar and singin a song!! i did suggest doing an instrumental heavy song but you gotta be pretty good to pull that off right??
