LI: the 51st state

Wow...really bored up here in the dacks.

This board has been keeping me busy at work thanks guys.

Anyway, this post came about b/c of the tour page. It's listed as Plainview, LI. Not NY. When people ask me where i'm from I say LI, not NY. I think LI should be it's only little state.

Yeah...those last sentences kinda sound like I'm 5 the way I wrote them but they are staying like that so think what you want.

Queens doesn't count as LI even thought it's tech. on the island

yeah it is illegal...no new state can be created from a previously existing state.....but then again....i must point out West Virginia...so apparently that law has some sort of glitch in it somwhere. lol oh and while i am being nerdy....long island's more populated then something like 30 states.

well West Virginia came about during the Civil War while the south was going secession-crazy, and WV didn't want to secede, so they formed their own state to remain as a part of the Union.

true but still it was a part of Virginia

The Confederacy should have won in that case and we wouldn't have this littler problem
