End Up Alone...missing lyrics?
I'm sure this question was asked on the old board, before I joined up, but here goes:
In the CD booklet for "The Madding Crowd," there are four lines near the end of "End Up Alone" which aren't sung on the CD recording. Do they sing those missing lines at concerts? Anyone know a reason why it was scrapped? Thanks.

Out of my eight concerts, I've heard them do End Up Alone 2, maybe 3 times...each time they've sung the "missing" lines. No clue why they got cut from the recording.

i believe they were cut out by mistake if i remember correctly
I wonder what its like to be remembered- John Hampson
kinda ironic, those few lyrics are my favorite lyrics on the cd :-/ maybe i like them so much cos i rarely hear them

It seems unlikely that you would "accidently" cut out part of the song. I would assume there were other motives. Though, with the lack of them, i must assume the prior mentioned theory.
it wasnt nine days who cut them, it was sony, so anythings possible

Thanks for the suggestions. I guess I need to go to a show, then, if for nothing else to hear those missing lyrics. It's better, I have to say, to have more lyrics than are actually sung, as opposed to having lyrics in the song that aren't in the book. Agreed?
