Dude, it really isn't John's fault AT ALL. This is FAR from the band's fault so don't even joke about them at this point because the Palmer's jerks said that the band "doesn't care" about any of the 15 people getting shutout and I think that it is clear that it is FAR from the truth because Nine Days clearly cared about getting people in.

They turned us away DAY OF SHOW saying it is 21+...we were not rude at all (a group of other people were a little *louder* than necessary) and I just think that Palmer's handled this very, very poorly. There was no leeway at all with this and it just wasn't very fair, at least in the mind's of myself, Lori, her friend Renee, and our long lost board pal KRISTA (<3333 HAPPY LOU?).

And also because STAGE made a "surprise" (term used loosely) appearence, we were even more upset because terms of getting in with an adult kept changing. at least it is on the radio...

but even the DJ doing the show couldn't get us in...COME ON!

Overall, I just hope that the band realizes that we know it is NOT their fault, Palmer's is just flat out NOT a cool place, and that WLIR should stop doing shows at this place unless communication is improved a lot. Sure, I didn't make a big trip (three huge minutes), but a bunch of others did and it just wasn't fair. Mandy and Kelli at least got to enjoy the show, but it was the plan to share it with them.

Anyways, that is enough of that...but for those of you on the island I just think that you should avoid Palmer's because they are rude and THEY are the one's who "don't care," not Nine Days. So yeah, that's the deal with that. Those of you between 18 and 21 who couldn't make it...no worries, you missed NOTHING.

Palmer's Grill sucks ass. The people there suck ass. Avoid it AT ALL COSTS.

You know, I wouldn't be so pissed off, had the people at Palmer's been nice about it. But my GOD were they horrible to us. Horrible horrible horrible. Everything printed about that show said it was 18 and over. Even the Palmer's website for crying out loud. They kept changing their story, and were such assholes about it...they are going to be getting such a nasty email about tonight. I'm telling everyone and their mothers to avoid Palmers.

I'm sad too because I've only seen Stage in concert once at a Tristate in like, November. (((((

I know that Brian was pissed about the change of age for teh show, because Lou said he mentioned it to him, and he was pissed. Ugh. Fuckin' idiots over at Palmers, I will NEVER go there (especially when i actually AM over 21. LoL)

Plus, the funny parT? Lou said there was only like 20 people in there, TOPS. X

Yeh...the guys really did care. John mentioned it on stage 2 or 3 times that if you know anyone taht tried to get apology for him. Then after the show both Brian and John said something. They were pretty pissed themselves.

Yeah, Lou told me that John was over talking to the managers of the place and was talking to them for a WHILE...and was VERY angry. He was apparently TOTALLY shocked when Lou told him that one of the staff members told us "the band DOESN'T CARE."

When i walked in right before you and I saw you guys having problems getting in. I said to the manager that everything said 18 and ninedays is very very good to their fans and going to be extremely pissed. He was like we don't care alcohol is being served and you have to be 21. They also told me it was a $10 min. if that was true whatever that's their policy. But they did'n't enforce that anyway.

Also, Brian said that his girlfriend and Nick's wife got yelled at for not ordering anything when they were sitting at a table.

So basically everyone got ****, the guys, their wives/g.fs and the fans. So bottom line is that Palmers sucks. When I walked in I thought this is a pretty cool place but after being there I would never go back.
