ot: fourth of july
somehow, my 4th of july found me in CT, signing to the lead singer of hot hot heat from a distance, dying of exhaustion, watching in awe of story of the year, asking eve6 about their opening band, seeing fireworks all along I95 between hartford and nyc, getting a SICK tan, conversing with family members of throne, and watching stephen jenkins make an ass out of himself once again?
i'm beat. what'd you people do?
Where do you live usually again? Because I'd find that funny if you're from NY and spending the 4th in Connecticut, because I have a friend in Connecticut who's spending the 4th in NY. Anyway, I'm just listening to the fireworks that people in the neighborhood set off, then gonna watch the South Park movie when they show it on Comedy Central. it's a prety lame way to spend the holiday, but then I've been thinking today is Saturday all day.

my 4th involved doing "intern-ish" stuff at a performence, cause they had a pay what you will showing.
heh, and what did jenkins do to make an ass outta himself? lol ~Ryan~
yeah i live on long island.
and they had a Q&A deal at this radio show, and every question he answered made him look more and more like a fucking egotistical rockstar. he's an idiot and his band sucks live haha
I went and saw sister hazel...they were good and then there was a fireworks show...and this cute guy next to me kept checking me out instead of the fireworks...it was kinda cute...and then later on this really hot guy was all like yo whats up and then i had to leave before i could give him my phone num...im cursed...

eve6 opening bands were...interesting. Stage was ok but Kill Hanah sucked
alpo - yous a cool kid.
everyone - NEVER DISS SOUTH OF THE BORDER, i love its cheesiness like wh0a
holy moly, i just saw kill hannah a few weeks ago opening for this band called switchfoot and they were terrible. absolutely hideous. and it was so funny, because we didnt know much about switchfoot when we went to their show, like what they looked like and stuff, so when kill hannah came on as the second opening band and didnt introduce themselves until halfway through their set, we were like "god, switchfoot sucks, did they get a new lead singer or something, what the hell is going on?!" then we felt like huge morons when they told us who they were. but the point is that they are not good.
LOL. I saw Kill Hannah in May and I wasn't paying attention to them. I was too busy trying to find the guys from July For Kings/ Vertical Horizon. But anyhow. It was at this festival type thing and all day there had been these two absolutely ridiculously crazy guys dancing like they were on 2359713405 million different drugs. When Kill Hannah got onstage, they had the two weird guys get onstage and dance with them during their entire set. It was funny.
Colleen.
colleen that could quite possibly be the greatest thing iv ever heard...some guy was doing that in this bar the other night...there was a live band playing and like three ppl up where the band was...and then some weird guy tripping out dancing like crazy...and then some girl joined him...
I enjoy randomness so much its not even funny...esp in public places Mandy
i personally really liked Kill Hannah
im me and see theyre really not bad "welcome to chicago...MOTHER F*CKER" I wonder what its like to be remembered- John Hampson |
