Ultimate Nine Days Compilation
Hi there. I'm fairly new here and just happy to have found so many people who appreciate one of the greatest bands I've ever heard! So many fellow Brits too...shows there ARE people over here that have great taste.
So apologies if this topic has been done before ok!
I've just about completed downloading all the earlier CDs now; so that makes 5 albums worth of material...not including any extras I may not have known about!
Here is my question then...if you were to burn a CD with the title: THE BEST OF NINE DAYS....what tracks would you choose?
I'm basing this on the usual 80-odd minutes of music on the CD....songs from all albums to be represented....

I just realised how many great songs this band have given us, so I thought I'd ask the 'experts' what they thought makes the best ND Mix CD.
Just think though...what a great compilation CD this will make. Hopefully it will inspire everyone here to come up with some great lists!
i tried to do that before, but i ended up with two filled to the max cd's and a bunch of songs i still wanted to use left over.
oh, that's a good question! way better than "what's your favorite ND song of all time?" which is totally impossible to answer!

that should about do it....now i'll go back and listen to them all and want to revise this list...but...you know, i have a commitment problem. i'd probably make 2 cds  )

Rachel...nice of you to say that it is a good question...I was worried it'd been done before.
It obviously depends on the songs you pick but I think I usually manage about 18 songs per disc, if that helps!
Keep the lists coming and we can maybe see if people think the same or not!
I really like rachel's list. I couldn't possibly pick, but mine would probably be like hers.

well, i had a warm up, actually, cuz the other day scott asked me for my all-time favorite song....which is why i said it was impossible, because, frankly, i tried really hard to pick just one, and it IS impossible, so i just defied him and started firing off my favorites from each album in rapid succesion (sp?)...which was fun...i felt like i was on a game show with a time limit and had to think really fast before he told me i was breaking the rules and was going to be spanked  so when this question came up, i was like, "ahh! this is a breeze!"...try thinking of them real quick....you'll like it!

boy that's a tough one! well, i would have to agree with rachel's list too, but i also think there definately should be a vol. II to go with it or something, because it would be impossible to put all the best ND songs on one cd, cause they're all good in one way or another or to one person or another.  talk to all ya'lls later!
