Hi! I just got bored.. since I was talking to someone and they left for no apparent reason ::glares at that person:: tongue sticking out smiley. So, I was wondering, what are your favorite songs of all time, by any artist? Here's mine, in no particular order.

1, Sometimes, by Nine Days - I looooove this song!

2. Ocean, by none other than Nine Days. I love the lyrics to this and it's soooo pretty. And I've never mentioned that I love Brian's voice... so I guess I'll do that here. lol.

3. (I know) this night won't last forever, by Sawyer Brown. This song is so sad but yet somewhat hopefull. I fell in love with it from the first time I heard it. D/L it if you like pretty songs! smiling smiley

4. Simon, by Lifehouse. I'm not sure what it is, but my fav. songs seem to be the ones that aren't mentioned by others as their favorites... like this one, and Sometimes. This song is great though. My favorite line is "You lost yourself in your search to find something else to hide behind" 'cause it describes me at times.

5. I'll always be right there, by Michelle Branch. This is off her unreleased album, Broken Bracelet. It's a great song about expressing strong feelings about a person. "When you're all alone, and you need a friend, someone to help you to the end, when you need someone to catch you when you fall, I'll be there through it all...."

6. Disease, by Matchbox 20. This song caught my attention right away. I'm not really sure why, but I really like it. I was trying to think of which song off their album was my favorite, and I guess it's this one since I play it the most.

7. This I Promise You, by Nsync. Hehehe... though I'm not quite the Nsync fan I used to be, this song will always be one of my favorites. I guess I just like ballady songs.

8. Gray Sky Morning, by Vertical Horizon. Another pretty, yet sad song. I must just like those, lol.

9. Two Beds and a Coffee Machine by Savage Garden. This song is absolutly gorgeous. But it's sooo sad. Why do I like sad songs?? I just noticed that.

10. Freshmen, by The Verve Pipe. Yet another sad song. It reminds me of my old psychology class though 'cause my friends and I analyzed it somewhat for a group project. And I liked that class... so it brings good memories. ::feels like a nerd:: oh well.

11. The Middle, by Jimmy Eat World. Every time I hear this song, I smile. It's so upbeat and stuff. I've even heard this song during a bad time, but it still makes me think of good things. Most songs don't have that power.

And that is my top 10 with the added bonus of 1 more. There's probably more that I'm not thinking of. Like "In my hands" by Fuel, is a good one too. But I can't have a never ending list so I shall be done.

speaking of songs, WHO is it that does the song "The Remedy"? It's a new song done by a new group or maybe it's just one guy. It always sounds like they say "Moon and Stacy" but then my friend said that's the djs' names.... so I don't know. But if anyone does know, tell me!! smiling smiley

PS. I'm really tired so if there's mistakes all over, that's why.

ok, my list would be neverending if i really thought about it, so im just going to type the first ten that come to mind...

oh, and im going to exclude all nine days songs, because they would all be nd songs and we already have the "your favorite nd songs" thread

so here goes:

1. DROPS OF JUPITER and MEET VIRGINIA train
2. FAME and RIGHT NOW sr-71
3. THE MIDDLE and SWEETNESS jimmy eat world
4. EMPTY SPACE and TAKE ME AWAY lifehouse
5. BRICK ben folds five

10. THE SECOND DAY kendall payne
11. PARDON ME and WARNING incubus
12. STILL HOLDIN OUT FOR YOU and NIGHT TO REMEMBER shedaisy

im sorry, i know i cheated. but i got to looking at my cd collection and i love so many songs. i have been depriving myself of other music since i got the old nd cd's. you know how you have one or two cd's that you just listen to over and over? well its been like that with nine days, and i have been neglecting other music. all the above songs came from like the first 15 cd's in my collection.

thanks for starting this thread, i forgot how much good music there is out there.

"In My Hands" by Fuel? The one that goes "Don't fall away and leave love bleeding in my hands?" Tis called "Hemmorhage," my friend (spelling, notwithstanding....maybe that's why people call it "In My Hands"). Anyway, here are my top mmm.....10 songs, in order for now:

1. Into The Groove - Madonna
2. Searching With My Good Eye Closed - Soundgarden
3. Revenge - Papa Roach
4. Tongue - Saliva (heehee, that's just a great match of song title and band name)
5. Dancefloor - Kylie Minogue
6. Crazy - Nine Days
7. Little Girls - Oingo Boingo
8. Radio Friendly Unit Shifter - Nirvana
9. Where The Wild Things Are - Metallica
10. Bring Em Back Alive - Audioslave
