highly recommended

I had minor surgery today. Nothing big.


But big enough that I had to have the "good" drugs to knock me out.

Since this was the first time that I had anything like that, I want to share.

The first sensation (about 20secs in) was kinda like being high..fuzzy feeling in your head and things are kinda numb. Definitely enjoyable.

But then, without warning, you wake up and the operation is over. I was asleep for about 35 minutes but I was told that I was answering questions/talking to the doctors the entire time. The odd part was this sleep came on like someone flicking a switch. There was no falling asleep or tossing and turning like we do our entire lifetime. It was an immediate switch.

It was a half hour of the most restful amazing sleep I have ever had. It was better than most full nights sleep. This stuff should be available over-the-counter!

If you are ever unfortunate enough to need an operation (knock on wood), the "happy" drugs would be one good thing about it!!!

Let's hear it for the drugs!

I had my little appendix taken out. Poor little guy. Anyway, they shut me down and I kind of had the same feeling of waking up suddenly. Afterwards, for like a good day, I just slept and slept and then the nurse lady (hot nurse like in the movies) gave me a container in case I wanted to go to the bathroom. It wasn't recommended that I get up so I went to town on the container.

Oh boy I filled that bad boy up, let me tell you! My Mom dumped it out and I felt bad because they wanted a sample, or to see how much I had "dispensed." I proudly stated that I filled it to the brim! She was proud, my Mom was proud, and I had me a good lay down.
