Venezuela's output is larger than Iraq.It is at a standstill for some months due to strikes by oil company there.
[See how that monster industry,fed by unyeilding American consumption,creates class warfare there??But .....
that is the matter of this hemisphere here, the OTHER brown peoples of the world we have at our disposal to exploit....and we'll leave this matter for the moment cause its a biggie,no?]
Iraq is ,at present,producing 1/2 its pre 1991 volume of oil.And even at pre 1991 prices,Iraq only supplied 5-7% OF THE WORLDS OIL.

Oil companies,our" fellow Americans", KNOW that oil will be cheaper after the war. (Now how could they know that???)
So they're not producing as much crude now,but rather,drawing down their own reserves.
The reserves are getting low,this creates a "shortage", they bring you higher prices.

And "freedom fries".

Now,why do you suppose they would be doing such a thing if ,as you attest,and indeed , these facts may bear out to some degree,this war on Iraq has nothing to do with oil?

It just doesn't. I don't have a spreadsheet for you or anything but prices may not go down after a war, in fact they will probably continue to rise to an average of 1.76 within the next couple of months. I'm sure you are right that they are making less oil. That's why the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia just sent a really huge shipment of oil to us and will continue to do so to appease us and also because they don't want to be overrun at some point in the future. I don't know about your experiences but I've seen light colored hispancis and etc. I'm "fair" skinned and so is my immediate family. In other words and Islam person is totally differen't, at least culturally then a Chilean. All right then. Looking forward to round 2.
