in 15 hours...

my trip to long island will begin. i am so excited, and a little scared. see the car we are driving is a manual transmission. and i can drive a stick, just not well...not well at all. my ability sort of reached a plateau at the bucking down the street level. so that should be interesting.

LORI: im going to try to catch you online later, so i can give you my cell number in case there is a problem with the plan. but if i dont talk to you, we will definitely be at the hotel waiting for you.

omgosh, i was just about to post a message to you here! hee, silly. i drove past the hotel this afternoon so i'd know where the heck i was going. so i figured at like 5:30ish that night, as planned, we could meet up in the hotel lobby, yanno, by where you sign in and stuff and get your key? so that way i don't go knocking on door after door going "MELISSAAAA" )

Pssshhhht. When I took driver's ed, the only cars at my house were sticks. So, I basically learned how to drive on a stick. And ya know what? I like sticks! They are fun!
