Pearl Jam (on topic kind of)

Saw the first show of the US tour and my first PJ show last night. What a great concert from start to finish! They opened with Love Boat Captain (my fave) which I don't think anyone was expecting! I don't have the set list, but I know they played 17 songs with 2 encores. I'm not a gee-tar player myself but WOW is all I can say about Mike's guitar solos especially on Evenflow! I think my fianc? nearly came unglued after that! If you are not planning on seeing them in your town or a town near you I would strongly urge you to check them out. One of the most amazing bands of our times.

First, I feel stongly about many bands and after seeing a great concert I thought I might share my experience.

Secondly, I would say it's on topic since John did mention he would be going to a few PJ shows this tour.

Excuse me for posting something about another great band. I assume you are too young to understand the impact this band had on rock music.

Oh and just so you know I'm not some random person "spamming" another board. I have been around this board for over 2 years thank you.

So I guess a little tongue smiley doesn't insinuate that you are joking nowadays..

I'm 19.. I'm old enough to know about Pearl Jam and a lot other groups.. but the groups I don't know about I can care less.. there is so much music that you don't know about and more importantly music is not everything.. it is a supplement to life.. it doesn't pay the bills.. and seeing as you go to concerts instead of hold them then I take it things are the same way for you.

If you'll notice also I am the only one that cared to reply to your post, so you should take that into consideration. Don't be so fast to say you don't care; the whole point of a message board is to start threads and discuss with the other members of the particular board. As you can see I am the only one that gave you the time of day.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I guess you didn't understand that is what I meant by my first response. I don't always say everything plainly; it gets a little boring living if you always do that.

I am sorry that you misunderstood what I said but please don't misunderstand and judge me. Criticizing my age is rather childish ironically enough; even if I knew the least about Pearl Jam out of anyone on this board I can say personally whether I think they suck or not if you catch my drift.

I'm sure you are not the only one to look at my post, but seeing as it was just my story I can see how there were no replies.
