Help with songs for CD

Help with songs for CD

It's about that time of the year (in NY) when the windows go down--and the sunroof slides back. You get to a red light and the spring breeze comes rippin through your freshly waxed car. The deep blue skies invite you to cruise down Ocean Parkway with every window wide open, and the CD player kickin some "drivin" tunes. See where I'm going with this?

I need a new CD to cruise around to. I havent purchased a CD in so long, it is laughable. HEY.. speaking of which..WHERE THE HELL IS LISA?? SLICKCHICK?? (she never downloaded songs)..anyway..

I need help with new songs. Give me songs which I can find on kazaa or songs which you can email me. Just one request...NO COUNTRY. NO BUBBLEGUM CRAP.

Rachel gave me a tune which will go on it. NICE!!! I want to have input from all you crazies. Red Wing fans are ok....Even RANGER fans' input is acceptable...

I would give you some examples of things on some other CD's I have made for this purpose...but I would never hear the end of it.

Always looking to broaden my musical horizons,

Bones

shawn mullins is excellent traveling music.

you can order all his indies off his website

www.smgrecords.com

they are only like $10 each. you can also try to download his stuff, but really all you can find is the new stuff, and i think his older stuff is better.

Led Zeppelin's Rock & Roll is an essential driving tune. I'll think of more later.

One song I've found particularily (sp??) interesting lately is "The Remedy" by Jason Mraz (was that how you spelled it, Colleen??). Some people think it's annoying but I think it's different and I kind of like his voice.

He was on some show last night and he was reaaally young and different looking from what I expected.. it was crazy stuff. ::nods::.

I heard that he did a studio session for KS95, not too long ago, and then they were like "And now he's coming back!" but I didn't know it was two days ago. There's a really cool version of "The Remedy" that they play on KS95 now, that he recorded for them. ::nods:: I bet the concert or whatever he did was good too, ::nods again::.

jason mraz is the coolest guy on the planet smiling smiley

he is damn funny too,

he fits into the driving music sector very easily i think

you should get his live cds muc better than the studio one. his talent gets bogged down by random instruments, him live is a guitar a double bass and a cymbal and bongo drums
