What's your favorite Simpsons episode?

I love the Beer Baron episode.

Any episode where they go out of the country, but especially the Australia one.

"I'd just like some coffee, please" "Right, one beer" "no, no, coffee" "beer" "cof - fee" "bee - eer"

my favorite is the lord of the flies one.

When millhouse and bart are being chased and millhouse swings across and is on the other side of the cliff. Bart says Millhouse throw it back and Millhouse who is already safe says Bart, but there's no time and runs away. LOL I love that one.

I tried posting this early but the board was being goofy. But anywho, I don't have any particular episode that is my favorite. I like the Halloween ones the best I think. And one sticks out in my head where Homer hits this deer statue with his car and he's like "Doh!" and Marge says "A deer!" and Lisa says "A female deer!" That was great. smiling smiley

Yeah it was alluring..

I like how Homer gets in the tar pit and the family screams that he's sinking.

So then he says not to worry and that he's gonna get his legs out with his hands..

And after his hands get stuck he says that now he's gonna get his hands out with his face/ mouth.

Pure genious.

Oh, I have to put in a vote (even though I already had my say, I have a second say) for the episode where Homer decides to go around challenging people to duels with a glove-slap, and then he has to move away and grow Tomaco. I love it because it's so dense. So much stuff happens in that under 30 minutes.

"Wow, it's like watching history unfold before your very eyes" "No, it's not! it's ---" "Shhhh, here come the ninjas"

"Plutonium??? But isn't that dangerous?......You're right, it's probably not"

"Eww! It tastes like Grandma!"

And then the whole part where Homer thinks the giant vegetables are invisible, so he's trying to find them. Ha!

that's really funny....that reminds me the other day i was at school and wanted to check my mail. There was onluy one computer available in the cluster and everytime i hit the "e" "n" or "m" these differnet windows would pop up and I needed all those letters to check my mail so i had to find websites that had them in there but i couldn't type them in so i had to click on random advertisements to get addresses with those letters. It took my 20 mins to check my mail

It was funny. At least to me it was.

My Favourite is "You Only Move Twice"

(tried doing this yesterday, but the board twas being strange)

Homer: Wow, my boss.
Hank: Don't call me that word. I don't like things that elevate me above the other people. I'm just like you. Sure, I come later in the day, I get paid a lot mmore and and I take longer vacations, but I don't like the word boss"

Genius...

(oh, by the way, WHY THE HELL DID THEY CANCEL FUTURAMA? It was brilliant!)

That's pretty funny too.. Tell me more about that episode; I don't remember which one that is exactly.. still.

Anyway.. I've been hearing some that they cancelled Futurama but it is still on Fox (at least in the US) at 6 PM Central time..

Are they just going to finish this season?

The episode jimbogreen is talking about is the one where Homer works for the evil genius trying to take over the world, but who appears to be the nicest boss and everything is all Utopian at his corporation. The highlights, in my opinion, were any time when Hank was doing something diabolical and Homer was totally oblivious, and when Bart gets put into the "special" class.

- "Homer, I want you to give these guys your years of experience."
- "That won't take long!"

After Hank makes his ulitmatum regarding the Doomsday device:
- "He might be bluffing!"
- "We can't take that chance!"
- "Why not? We never take that chance! I wanna take that chance!"

In the "special" class:
- "So whatcha in for?"
- "I like to burn things..."
- "I am from Canada and they think I am slow...eh?"

(My apologies to those from Canada, but that made me laugh)

It's all in good fun..

I thought it was that episode but I wanted to be sure.. thanks smiling smiley

I like how they reference Bond several times throught the whole entire series; in that episode he's about to get a laser right through him from Scorpio and he get's out after he turns his back and Homer trips him accidently.

I think that'a what happened anyway. Those are some of my favorite scenes; the ones with Bond.

My favorite is the Tomacco episode.....especially the part where Lisa is shaving the sheep and it turns out to be a rat.....
