Okay, I am going to voice that I firmly do NOT believe that dolphins and humans should be having sex for any reason, pleasure or otherwise. Let's stick to one species, people!

Today was a beautiful day, indeed. Our professor decided to have class out in the quad because there was no sense wasting such a nice day.

The hormone theory is pretty good. I'm sure dolphins have some sort of equivalent to endorphins that scientists can detect. Those really odd scientists who spend their entire lives studying...no, not the cure for cancer or AIDS, but dolphin sex. What a world we live in.

The more we learn about everything the better. If we focused just on cancer we would have cured cancer and then be dying of something else. Besides, with six billion people, we can spare a few for dolphins.

hmmm, actually, if dolphins and humans could find a way to have sex to breed, that'd be pretty cool. Some weird mix of two mammals (dolphins are mammals, not fish), that could be called a tweederniftingizy. Oh boy. But then there'd be ethical issues with the treatment of tweederniftingizies. Does the law appropriately protect their civil rights? Does the 14th amendment cover the equal protection of other human-related species? How readily would the government agree to changes to existing laws to accomodate the new species? Obviously, the tweederniftingizies would need to rally behind a common leader who could lead them in peaceful protests that would send a clear message to the world that they deserve the same treatment that us full-humans deserve and receive. Oh, it would be a historical struggle, and one that would set a precedent for the treatment of other half-human species that arose like the tweederniftingizy.
Yeah, I'm a little bored right now :-P

impossible. the mechanics. they don't work. first off, you'd have to wear an oxygen tank deal under water, which would encumber your movement. then you'd need the dolphin to stay down there. and dolphins are slippery. i imagine the dolphin would eventually have to breathe. plus you'd have to become aroused, and i don't know about any of you, but 8 times out of 10, a dolphin doesn't arouse me.
