It's probably because I went through a little faith crisis of my own for a couple of years but that right there is just so fucking great I don't even know.

I've only listened through a couple of times and it takes me time to get into albums but this is just something else.

The cover art and album title are also perfect, by the way. Perfect.

I wonder how this is going to fair as a major label debut considering all of the promotion has been done by the band through erratic internet updates without a music video or airplay on the radio.

I need them not to be shut out of the business because they put out an album like this. I need them to thrive because of it.

And Limousine it starts all haunting and then you think it's just going to go into some stupid angry thing and then it gets this happy thing going all within the span of like 45 seconds and then it just becomes something that makes me want to, I don't know, be as girly as my handwriting.

There's also a slightly delayed snare hit in the beginning of "You Won't Know."

Just a stupid little thing. It's panned between the headphones, too. 1/100th of a second between the left and right ears.

Fucking violin.

With a new Matthew Good album on the way I think I'm going to explode before the next presidential election.
