kmart sucks! i work at one. i used to work at this kick ass one, but it closed down. then i got transferred to this other one...i've only been their 2 weeks and i can't stand it anymore! i was at the other one for 4 friggin' years, and i loved it. this new place is a total drag. i think it's time i get out of this shitty corporation. thanks. i needed to vent. good night.

That's a good question, what is Kmart? Haha I mean, I've heard of it, but what exactly does the K stand for??
Haha.. my mom worked at Kmart when she met my dad and when she met his family, they all sang the "Kmart is our savings store where your dollar buys you more.." song. She was just thrilled with that, haha. It'd probably be like, if I ever get a boyfriend and his family sings "we love to see you smile" 'cause I work/ed at McDonalds. How embarrassing, haha.

the founder of kmart's last name started with a k. it was like klaponowski or something long and unpronouncable like that. and "kmart" is the correct way to spell it, not "k-mart". i know, it's stupid. and why do i know all of this kmart trivia? because i'm a fuckin' k-nerd.

we have walmart over here.. we used to have kmart.. but then it got bought out by zellers.. and yea.. confusing.. i don't really know.. all i know is that walmart has clothes that are some unknown name and cheap.. and i'm not a brandname person..

i have all 3 around me & aren't bob's stores something like it too. i went to on once and it was stocked w/ tons of items.

Target is a good store and we just got one like.. a year or two ago, and now I'm hearing rumors that they're going to replace it with a Kohl's. So that's stinky, even though I like Kohl's, I think I'd rather have a Target. But then, I'd rather have a Best Buy than either of those, so I think they should put that in instead, hehe.
oo i went for a drive the other day.. and they are building a best buy.. i was so excited.. i'm like yes..
only cuz it's somewhere new to shop..and well.. i'm an obsessive complusive shopper

I've heard of Shopko!! There's one not too far from here. I used to think they were only in Wisconsin til I saw the one here. And now I know that they must be in Michigan too...

ladies and gentlemen, the kmart corporation, after spending over a year in bankruptcy, is finally coming out of it. yes, folks, kmart is well and alive again, with new management, creative ideas and a shitload of closed stores, including my beloved one.
They need to fill that failed hoole in my town that used to be a K-mart.. it's ruining the new and fresh look to the city..
