Madeline is a unique name, very elegant, also Mady is a cute nickname

I totally agree on being able to pick out the name since you're the one that carries and delivers the baby. As long as your husband or partner isn't totally appalled by the name, it's fine. I've always wanted to have a son and name him Ethan... which my boyfriend doesn't seem to be a huge fan of (he isn't totally appalled by it), but I've already decided that's what it'll be if we ever have a boy...haha.
