request for all you guys

Seeing I have been on this board since June of 2000, alot of you guys should still remember me.....

anyways, as some of you may remember, my husband and I welcomed our first child, William, into the world in January.

I am asking all of you guys to put William in your prayers.... Wed the 13th (a week) he will be having major hip surgery. he was born with developmental hip displacia and has to have his his surgically repaired and put back into place. For an infant, this is a fairly complicated and delicate procedure. He will then be in a body spica cast for 3-6 months after...

anyways, if you guys could say a prayer or two for us, I would so much appriciate it.

Dear God, please be with Tracy's little son William as he undergoes surgury on the 13th. Please comfort and be with them on that day and the months of recovery that follows. We ask that You please heal William. Let your love console the family and friends. As you are our fortitude and are always with us, please watch over William and the loving and caring people around them--keep them safe and strong.

i know its been awhile since his surgery...
everything went super well. They did not have to remove part of his femur and put a plate in his hip....

he is still in a body cast for at least 2 1/2 more months but life is back to normal. I am in the middle of doing my student teaching plus taking care of the baby and trying to work part-time. it is amazing how everything works out and returns to "normal"
