My Nine Days moment

Hey everyone! I realize the risk in posting a nine days moment 'cause I noticed they don't get a lot of replies, but oh well.

Anywho, I was headin' back to school one last time to take a final, and they were like "we've got a lot of good stuff coming up like matchbox 20, nine days, avril lavigne...." And I was just amazed 'cause they have not played Nine Days in soooo long and I listen to that radio station quite a bit.

But then we started getting closer and closer to school and by this time, they'd played the mb20 song, and they had other songs inbetween the two, so I was scared I wouldn't hear it before getting to school... But it did come on, it was Absolutely.

Flashback to my Nine Days speech, I said something at the end like "Give the music a try, who knows, maybe some day you'll be saying, in nine days, I'm going to see Nine Days." And when Absolutely came on, my friend was like "I'm going to see them in nine days!" It was funny.

They were playing a lot of older songs today like "Everything you want" and that one Enya song that was popular about a year ago.

Once when I was listening to "Waiting on the Corner" in the student union, they have TV monitors showing music videos, and the White Stripes song "Seven Nation Army" was on. It was cool, because the drum beat matches perfectly with "waiting on the corner" so it looked like the sister was playing along to the music in my headphones (except the only percussion on the specific part of "corner" i was listening to was the cymbals).
