Collective Soul???

Anybody know what happened to Collective Soul? I was always keeping tabs on their site (didn't update for six months) when it suddenly disappeared one day. I was thinking maybe it would be temporary and that they were putting up a new one since they were supposed to be working on a new album. But it's been several weeks. I eventually found a fan site that said the album was supposed to come out in February but that site hadn't been updated for months either. Can anyone give me a little help as to where I can find any info on them? I doubt they're gone 'cause no one else is (ND, Vertical Horizon, Evan and Jaron, etc.) but I'd like to know. Thanks!

i know. i went to their website recently, but it wasn't there. i wanted to see if they're coming out with a new album soon or if they're gonna tour. i saw them in concert a couple of years ago, and it was awesome. hope they didn't fall off of the face of the earth.

They're probably on hiatus.. liike the Beastie Boys were..

Hmmm ok Collective Soul IS like one of the best bands around.....I haven't gone to their site in awhile.....but that's just SICK if they are gone......Maybe they are just working on the site to update it for the new album???? Who knows, I just hope they have a new cd out / .

I love CS...never got into Blender though...in fact, its the only CS album I didn't buy. "Why Pt. II" was good, but I don't know about anything else from that album.

i hear ya. collective soul is one of my favorite bands. they'll probably come out with something new all of a sudden, hopefully soon. i just hope that their sound stays upbeat and energetic, like "heavy".
