New cd

How come, after 3 years of waiting for NineDays to come out with a new cd, they do -- and I don't even find out about it until 3 months later????

If you really wanted the CD as soon as it came out, it would have been a good idea to visit the website, and ask somebody on the board when it would be out, but this is your first post

unfortunately without having the corporate slugs you have much less money to work with so publicity is definately harder to achieve. Thats why I, like most here on the Board, have been spending countless hours plugging the band. I am a ND pimp and proud of it. Just get the new CD's and start playing it everywhere you go. I still play SHU to everyone and they love it but I am on LI where John grew up soi we all k now the guys which makes it harder to find people here who have not heard of them. All of the people outside of NY should be plugging like crazy. I spend time on western boards so their name gets out there. It's funny but everyone knows Absolutely but they don't know the name of the band... Keep plugging away!!!!

Ok... I'm stupid...
And that's why I even went to 4 record stores and asked for the new"er" ND cd and NO ONE had it, nor did anyone KNOW OF IT. Also, it wasn't listed on Best Buy's database so I could special order it.
And, sorry - I didn't have internet and couldn't check the message board. God - I guess that does prove that I'm not a fan! Even though I still listen to their first cd daily and went to see them in concert...
Sorry, but not being an obsessed fan doesn't mean you aren't a fan.

i guess what these kids are saying is that its not out of NOWHERE that nd released their album... if you came on here maybe once every three months in between the time tmc and now, you would have some idea of the situation... and if you said you saw them play live, why didn't you get it then? and why don't you just get it from the website now... its not that big of a deal...

You realise we were being sarcastic when we said you had to drop everything and come stay on the board all day, right??

How exactly does an unsigned band get their CD's to a big chain?

They dont.


And that is why you couldnt find them and nobody in those stores knows anything about it.

and If you don't frequent this site enough, Lou will stalk you, and then throw Cd's (and blank ones at that) at you...
