i agree with genesis on this, i think its better than the simpsons (please dont hit me for sayin that)

family guy is undoubtedly the wittiest cartoon ever... my goal in life is to become an animator who can make a show as great as that.

I'm taking a class in television writing, and we have to write a spec script for a 30 minute show thats currently on the air (certain exceptions, i.e. Seinfeld and Family Guy), and I'm writing Family Guy. I currently have 2 of the 3 acts written, and we read Act I out in class on Monday. I got a good amount of laughs, so I'm happy. :-)

family guy is AWESOME and better than the simpsons, if you think they're dumb, you just don't get the jokes, and thats ok. alot of it is over your head humor hidden in slapstick... sooooo intelligent ;o)

Family Guy and Futurama are the joint reasons why I have ventured into the Animation/Motion Graphics field.
The humour found in Family Guy is unsurpassed. It is so seemlessly integrated into the script that sometimes it completely passes the viewer by. I am also a big fan of creating, directing and producing animations that aren't simply for children. I'm also in awe of the possibilities that abound from merging 2D and 3D as touched on in Futurama. I hope to do something along similar lines. Maybe you'll hear about me some day..........

There are 3 series available in the Uk and ive got them all!! the best ones the one with the olympics!!with the guys afraid of the red tape!!how many series are there in america??

they are making new episodes that will air in december or around that time. fox finally realized their mistake. it took box set sales and high ratings on cartoon network for them to go hey wait...the show was good, why on earth did we cancel it.
Interesting. I had heard that there were indeed going to be 3 new series. Only I had heard that Family Guy was snapped up by Paramount, the same as Futurama.
Whatever the actual/factual truth, there IS going to be a Family Guy movie! However, it could possibly/probably/likely to be released straight to DVD.
The plot of it looks hilarious.
