$200 billion: The amount of money our federal government spends to subsidize foreign governments

70%: The amount crime rose under Alcohol Prohibition

25%, 40%, 50%: The amount of auto-thefts, robberies/assaults, and burglaries that are committed by drug addicts trying to buy overpriced substances inflated by the War on Drugs

6 in 10: The amount of prisoners locked up on drug-related charges

40 million: The number of Americans who occasionally use illege drugs

50%: The amount of crime-fighting resources are spent on fighting drug-use

1914: The year in which many of today's illegal drugs were made illegal
