A simple question, really. Which age-old game do you prefer, Checkers, or Chess?
Myself, I'm a Chess man. It's complex and each game can be an epic war. Checkers, while it gets the job done in a pinch, is too simplistic for me to enjoy, really. It's boring without enough going on to get me to rack my brain.
Chess is a game of kings.

I haven't played chess since 4th grade, so I wouldn't know how... so I guess I have to say checkers.

Chess most definately.... Im a chess champion. Chess club president.. damn that sounds dorky!.. lol.... but yeah.. I love to Play chess. I own a 400 dollar chess set if that tells you anything...

oh man, no competition. chess owns. i enjoy a good tactical game of chess here and there. I agree though, checkers is a far too simplistic game for me to get into

I like Chess, but am surrounded by intellectual inferiors so I get little chance to play :-P (kidding of course, except that chess is better.) I like that war game too, whats it called. Risk? I can't remember.
Risk is a good time, too. Nothing better than getting four guys together and screaming at each other as you break alliances and conquer the world.

I'm going to go with Chinese Checkers. That's what it's called, right? That game's fun.

Chess. We have a magnetic version stuck to the fridge in our Uni flat. Its genious. Theres a little bit that has 'Your Turn' in the different colours, so that you don't even have to be in the same room, to know whos turn it is. Click the image to find out more.

Uno's hot. We had uno tournaments at work this summer (it was REALLY slow, haha). Also included were office wide Spit tournaments, a huge game of Hold 'Em Poker, and of course, gin rummy.
