You're playing a solid state? Genesis, I thought you were better than that.

This fellow distributes tubes imported from JJ Electronics, which I believe to be Czech (though I think they have some affiliation in Canada). I was referred to him by my uncle, who got tubes off of him a couple of weeks ago and said they were cheap, quickly delivered, and boosted his amps tone and output considerably.

Also, in regards to the tubes in general, the tubes on the Blues Junior, when produced at the Fender factory, are set up to be over-biased, so that they burn hotter and thus burn out more quickly (they also distort more easily when the volume's turned up). These tubes are more biased in the middle so that they don't burn as hot, won't burn out as quickly, and provide a better tone while staying cleaner at higher volumes.

Thus, my beautiful Blues Junior, while already kick-ass considering how small it is, will be even more kick-ass with new, sexier tubes in it.
