To aid the mental image... are we talking about an empty bottle with a finger in the bottle neck from underneath the fret board?... or a half full bottle with you grasping it drunkenly from above?

Half full bottle, but not really drunken.

Had a gig last night and I had a slide solo at one point but had forgotten to take my slide out prior. Needing to use SOMETHING, I went for the nearest glass tube-like thing... A bottle of Beefeater.

Went over well. I think I'll incorporate it into the act regularly.
