Speaking of that, Brian said that the guitar he used in the If I Am video is going on ebay soon..


He started describing it yesterday, but I really dont remember what he said.

I'd like to get a throw away guitar that I could destroy and then glue back together on a regular basis, like Mike Dirnt.

Squier strats really are crap, though. Mine is unplayable at this point. Granted, I've had it for 8 years and you can't expect a 130 dollar guitar to hold for too long, but it's just no good.

Get your band to sign it. Chuck it on eBay, nurture the rumour of it's existence at a single gig, watch the bidding sky rocket by word of mouth. Buy a new and improved guitar and several exotic beers from overseas with the winnings.

A plan? I think so.

Have you played any of their guitars, Genesis? The prices look right to me.

Though I'm closing in on having the money for a '52 tele and might turn my current tele into some sort of monster when I get the time.

squier is not crap, its like fender but cheaper =P and doesnt sounds exactrly like a fender, but its close

I had a standard fat strat but had to sell it. Great guitar...probably some of the best sound out of any electric I've ever played
