they're good, they have a few great songs with powerful endings such as 'like eating glass', 'positive tension'... 'blue light' is a good ballad...

I like Bloc Party. A lot.

Even though sometimes they make my ears hurt.

I did try to like them under the great pressure of a friend, but it just never happened as it does with some other bands.

helicopter is kinda catchy, but the have so many remixes that im starting to hate it...
