How do you post links on this message board

Whenever I do it, it's not a direct link and then you end copy and pasting it to go on the site.

Eg: www.ninedaysmusic.com how do I make this into a link?

[ url ]http://whatever.com[ /url ] or [ url=http://whatever.com ]text about site[ /url ]

Just take out the spaces in the brackets.
