i just got Goo Goo Dolls New CD
I didn't expect them to put on the ridiculously awesome show that they did when I saw them a few years back.
-Mike Go listen to my band. We're awesome. http://www.myspace.com/rosencrantzny weallgotwoodandnails
i actually think this album is utter cack compared to some the last few albums, no stand out tracks really, it all kind of merges into one every time i listen to it. gutterflower was a step back in the right direction after dizzy up the girl..
doesnt look like theyll be going back towards superstar carwash/a boy named goo then.. http://www.musiksite.co.uk
I've got Gutterflower and pretty much only listen to "Here is Gone" and "Sympathy." Maybe I should get the new one... I've been needing new music.... I haven't gotten a CD since Kelly Clarkson's, and I don't download stuff 'cause I'm on dial-up.

Yeah, that one is good. I just hadn't listened to the CD in awhile, and I recently took it back out and only listened to those ones that were on the radio... so I probably forgot what the other ones were like.

Date: 04-21-06 22:12 Seeing as the official release date is not until the 25th, what kind of connections do you have? I am jealous... i have a friend who owns a record store who can get me CDs early Post Edited (04-23-06 12:23) Mike Mc-- Myspace.com/macattack42691
I think Takac writes good songs and like the musical sound of them, but I absolutely do not like the sound of his voice.
That said, I've listened to the following songs from the album: Give a Little Bit- cover of a song that I don't enjoy all that much Better Days- too soft for what I think of when I think Goo, but fairly good Stay With You- ah, this is what I want more of, awesomeness Feel the Silence- great balad, love the double vocal chorus lines Can't Let It Go- like it, though not quite so much as Feel the Silence We'll Be Here (When You're Gone)- love the chorus, but I think this song has more potential than it shows Become- Johnny Rzeznik should really get a patent on the awesome ballads he does like this I'll certainly be out to buy the album on Tuesday. I really like what I have heard so far, but I wish there were a few more songs with the sound of Stay With You. Hopefully, I will get to see them this summer.
I really like the new cd, stay with you is my fave at the moment, but let love in,feel the silence and pretty much all the ones that robby doesnt sing get better and better the more u listen 2 them!!Rzeznik has to be one of the best song writers...although i do agree that a few more songs like on a boy named goo would have been nice as it would be something different and you cant beat some of the songs on a boy named goo!
