unfortunately, the wanna be soccer fan is pretty accurate.

Imagine picking up a hockey stick which was laying on the floor. One hand on the end. the other 3/4 of the way down.

Holding it out across yourself, you would skate up to someone and hold the stick parallel to the ice and push it into someone.

Hurts like hell and is very effective to move the opposition.
