This got pretty far down.

Thanks, Genesis! I've been trying to figure out which CDs I was still missing, as I try to get my favorite bands' complete discography. I didn't even realize that "So Happily Unsatisfied" was never released until late last year. Thank god for eBay and advanced releases.
It was never released...

Hi... I'm new here. Am posting on this thread instead of creating a new topic. Maddening Crowd is probably my favorite CD of all time. I'm not sure why... Haha. I've heard the other albums (though I don't have them anymore due to computer crashing)... I also believe I lost my Maddening Crowd CD haha. What bad luck I have.
In any case, Nine Days is awesome. I'm not the type of person who is obsessive about bands.. even though Maddening Crowd is my favorite CD and has been for like 5 years, I don't know anything about the band! Ha. Reading the history was kind of interesting, though.
By the way, "Goninedays.com" doesn't work for me... i see the front page load and then it turns into http://johnhampson.com/ before I can do anything. weird!
wow i type too much. im not bored! haha

hey check it out:
1995: Nine Days Debuts at the
Village Pub in Port Jefferson
In the mid-1990s, Long Island natives John Hampson and Brian Desveaux, both singers and guitarists, began writing songs in Hampson?s Deer Park apartment. They formed a band, Nine Days, with bass player Nick Dimichino, drummer Vincent Tattanelli, and keyboardist Jeremy Dean. In 1995, they began performing at the Village Pub in Port Jefferson on Monday nights. That year, they also independently produced their first record, ?Something To Listen To.? It took nine days to record, giving the band its name. In 1996, they released ?Monday Songs,? and in 1997, ?Three.? Nine Days also won local radio contests on WBAB and WLIR. After Hampson wrote their smash hit, ?Absolutely (Story of a Girl),? five labels wanted to sign them. They chose Sony 550 Music, and in 2000, Nine Days released its major label debut album, ?The Madding Crowd.? The band is shown here in a 1998 performance.
