257 Weeks meaning

Anybody knows the exact meaning of the song "257 Weeks"???

i believe it was how long it was from the creation of the band till the signing of a contract with sony...yes? (all you regulars, i just got home from a party so i'm a little fuzzy right now on details)

haha and i don't know the truth to this story but i remember it had something to do with a baby picture that had the caption "found his feet - 257 weeks" haha i think someone on here made that up or something

It's my most favorite song ever. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
