Aright I've been going nuts trying to figure out the correct lyrics for lost you. There are a few spots that I still can't figure out...Please help!!

Well, the version you have is different from the version which Nine Days posted here on this web site (I know because I first heard the version you have, I think). The version on this site doesn't end with "by the tower you said you'd still love me...etc." I don't know where the other version comes from, to be honest. When I get home tonight, I'll see if I can figure something out based on what you have.

hmmm... my version does not have the "by the tower" bit... but my version of Things We Said does (DUH) anyhow... this is what I think...

yeah i think it is 'Brought upon closeness"

I think it is "and don't drive past outside my home"

and then possible "a dark dawn over the ocean"

but I could be wrong, thats just what I hear...

hey, i'm sleepy right now, and can't think, but didn't one of you girls who went to the chicago show say john said something about the correct lyrics to a song?...i think it was "things we said"....i'm just curious, if that IS the song he was talking about, which part of it he thinks we always get wrong when we post the lyrics...? it seems to me to be a pretty easy song to understand....did he happen to say which part he was talking about? i remember once somebody put up that they thought it was "by the town where you said you still loved me" but that's the only part i can think of....oh well. just curious...and now that i think about it, totally pointless, huh? *sigh*

I'm one of those Chicago girls... He never SPECIFICALLY said which part, maybe the entire chorus in general because that is the part he told us... (the 'by the tower' bit) But maybe he was referring to the actual tower line but who knows? well, John does. but anyhow.

yeah on the old board someone thought it was "by the town", but it's "by the tower"....Jeremy confirmed that.
