It's Independence Day, not the 4th of July! Okay, it is the 4th of July, but what does that mean? Nothing, that's why it's called Independence Day.

my dog just barks, doesn't hide, just barks.

i saw fireworks on the rooftop of a 43-floor downtown building last year, watching two shows at once, pretty awesome. Didn't get to do it again this year, but my fellow guards reported that it was pretty cool, they took the new kid up there.

my village does all the good stuff on the 3rd.
i got very drunk on free beer at the fireman's festival because my brother, fuckbuddy and his dad are firemen.
then we watched the fireworks from about 100 yards away ontop of the firehouse with mucho coronas.
more drunken debauchery happened at the bar.
then it was off to another FD guy's hot tub to watch dry lightening over the bay.
i stumbled in the door sometime after 5am.
