I have news

Yesterday I turned 24, and I had a big party on the 23rd and during that party... I got engaged!

What do you guys think would be better, a summer wedding, or one in like, October? I've always been more of a Fall person, and summer is likely to be way more booked than October. Either way, we have over a year 'cause it's gonna be in 2009, but I'd like to actually set the date very soon.

Thanks everyone! I didn't expect to get so many replies so fast.

I'm sure he would love to go to Vegas, haha. But we don't have the money to go there, and I want people there.

Congrats!! I'm currently planning a fall wedding myself. It's a great time of year. Not too hot, not too cold. My roommate/maid of honor is planning a May wedding and you can definitely see a price difference (fall being cheaper). The best piece of advice that I've heard so far is to get as much booked in 2008 as you can because you'll get 2008 prices for a 2009 wedding. Good luck!!!!!!! :0)
