Even more JH demos up...

So, here are the final (-ish), unmastered, mixes of a few new songs that will be on a full length release coming this summer.

A new one - "From A Hospital Bed" - is also up. These will be up for a short while, then I'll swap them out for some other new ones.

Sort of a look at a work in progress.

Hey John, I love the new demos. I in particular love Counting the Stars, but I got a question about some of the lyrics.

In the last verse when you're closing the song this part kinda throws me off...

and in the end we come undone
i thought that i knew, but you knew all along

One of my favorite parts of the song is the lines where you have...

and it's the hardest thing to fake;
you say you love me, but...

I was wondering why you didn't end the song with that along the lines of...

and it's the hardest thing to fake;
you say you love me, but now its just too late

The song works without it, but I was wondering why you didn't keep that part at end of the song? It's one of my favorite parts.

I usually try to have a song progress at the last chorus and I felt that we already know that it is difficult to fake it, so the ramifications are that we come undone; the facade crumbles and there we are, awkward and disappointed.

Nice ideas, though!

John
