I've only spent a weekend in Boston in the middle of January and I love it almost, but not as much as NYC. The subway shutting down at like 2 AM is like wtfm8? And where are the delis?

Boston's pretty cool. I've only been there once and it was in March and it was COLD, but I liked the city. I'd go to a show there (who am I kidding, I've gone to the middle of nowhere Vermont to see a show).

i heart boston! a nd show there would be very cool. haha. and its not TOO far from new york.

and mike, judging by your subway comment i imagine you'd find london a tad annoying (last train on the tube is around midnight)... i really wish it ran 24hrs... but nothing does here. even 24hr grocery stores... they still are only open on sundays for 6hrs.

Boston is very very "nice". It's very clean and everyone is very polite and its quite interesting. And thats as fun as it got for me. And the band should DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY play a show there. Just so that they are playing shows ANYWHERE, like they PROMISED. Yes.

I love to visit Boston and would love to visit London but I'm so used to everything being open all day every day that I don't know how I'd cope to a permanent change.

Like when I spend a couple of weeks at a time out in Arizona. Everything is just closed down when the sun goes down and then there's nothing to do but sleep. I just wanted a bottle of Gatorade at around 1am and couldn't find ANYWHERE to get one. Not even a gas station open. Plus everything's closed during the day in the summer because it's 120 degrees outside. What an awful state. And they have no public transportation. I mean what the ****?

I love traveling and want to travel the world, but everywhere I go I find myself wanting to go back to New York.

Wow, and I thought my hometown was bad because it gets dead later at night... but McDonalds, Walmart, Perkins, and one of the gas stations are open 24/7. I can't imagine there not being anything open at all!

the only thing thats slightly annoying is the fact that if i don't get up to the grocery store on sunday before 4:30pm it's closed.

and mike, in london there are 24hr night buses which are the answer to the tube problems... and at some point you should definitely visit over here.
