My god I had to go back soooo freaking far to find this ...couldn't remember the name of it to search.
Anywho.
I wanna go to the BBQ ....
But I'm moving back to school that weekend, and tickets would be too much.
The 24+hour drive from New Orleans would be fun, but alas, gas would be as expensive as a flight.
It's only an acoustic show though, right?
Guess I'll go b

Think young.
From a definitive era in the '90s.
Is a band and was pretty famous at one point.
The only hint that I can't fit in is "Think Young."
I'm going to just take a guess and say Hootie and the Blowfish.
They seem to fit some of it. I took my guess and won't guess again.

Someone be nice and send me this song.
I'm leaving for the summer and won't get a chance to download it for a bit when the sites come back up.
My AIM is Ryanp86b ...notice the "p."
If someone sends this to me I will give them any name they want on my list thingie. Except "cool" because well, Ryan is the cool.

I thought about Kryponite but it didn't really sound like that.
I was thinking Metallica but I'm not sure.
The hints are: Think young and it's from a definitive era of the 90s.
Only era I could think of was the Grunge era.
I heard it before, but I'm still stumped.

I've seen them live. They were pretty good.
I do like "The Reason" and "Running Away" but I don't have any of their albums.

Obviousally, you will again see that this post has been hijacked by Sofi and I.
So tell me, why are you still talking about Mr. DeGraw?

Ah, yes. I was talking about rocking theme tunes. Gavin DeGraw's "I Don't Want to Be" on "One Tree Hill", Phantom Planet's "California" on "The O.C", and Remy Zero's "Save Me" on "Smallville."
Great tunes to turn the volume up all the way and jump around singing along.
Of course, the best theme song is on "Pin

I will forever associate Gavin DeGraw with Pinky and the Brain.
Anyone remember how we transitioned on the last post?
Needless to say, Pinky and the Brain was a genius of a show.
"The Brain: Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Pinky: I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella? "

His birthday was in the local newspaper! How cool is that?
It listed all the celebrity/politcians/etc. birthdays that were today, and in on the list was:
Rock singer and musican Brain Desveaux (Nine Days) is 33.

The main group of us forumites call everyone by their real first names and not their screennames.
It gets quite confusing for newbies.

I think this is a good thing. After getting no backing for Out Of The Vein from Electra even with the record having several songs that would of been mainstream hits.
Record companies used to be made up of people who loved music and now it's all about money.
Personally, I'm sick of seeing 16 year old girls singing about crushes and "punk" boy bands making songs about how their

MadTV did a sketch on shows like this and it was called, well, "Pretty White Kids With Problems."
It was actually a parody of the WB shows but it works here as well.
They covered the 30 year old actors that play 15 year olds, all the character stereotypes, and all the stereotypical storylines. It was quite funny.
