Band... solo... it's all good. I'm just glad John is keeping on keeping on. As long as the fire burns in him, I will support him no matter who else is on the project with him.

I remember talk of a soundboard recording becoming available of a recent show. What ever came of that?

If not snocap, then how about itunes straight up? Or just offer to sell downloads right off this site.

Super! Soundboard live shows!!! I love them. In fact, I have advocated for a long time that the band should record all their shows from the board and offer them up for sale as downloads though the site (or the snocap thing they have going on myspace). I for one, would love to have the chance to add some quality soundboard shows to my collection.

Move it to September 21 or 22 and I'll be even happier (I'll be in DC for the Genesis reunion tour). Not that it wouldn't be worth the 8 hour drive anyway.

most boards are set up for recording straight from the board. And most bands actually do record shows to be able to compare and look back at to prepare for future gigs.
What equipment costs would you think there would be? If they are a pro live band and they don't have recording equipment... guess what? They aren't a pro band.

So how about some word from the top as to whether this is even possible. I think it would be easy and doable as downloads only for about $10 a pop.

you know... the guy should hook up a recorder to the soundboard and record their live shows and offer them up to fans on the site. I would fork over $10 plus shipping or so for a live show on cd. Wouldn't you? Heck, they could even make it just downloads that you buy for an amount. That way they are making some bucks and feeling loved and supported by the fans, while not having to worry abou

I wanted to encourage all others to do likewise. I just posted a bulletin on myspace about the band and the new album.

Way to think outside the box, John and company.
In our ever changing world, we have to start rethinking the way music and other forms of arts are presented for mass consumption.
Who knows, you may be onto a real grassroots thing here with new music every half year. Or, a song a month average.

I ordered mine in 2004. Got it in a few weeks.
I'm just wondering why so many people waited so long. I've had mine for almost 2 years.

In 2000, 9Days were poised to become a big band. I saw them outplay Vertical Horizon and 3rd Eye Blind on tour that summer. In 2002, they made a vast jump in quality with SHU, avoiding the sophomore slump, but then got the carpet yanked by the label. To my thinking, SHU was the best album that year, and still among the top 5 so far of the decade. It was a solid album that would have made their pl

I think the songs John has already shared with us should stay away from any new ND album, but there are songs that we have not heard or downloaded that might be worth putting in with the band.
Personally, I would rather hear all new stuff rather than rerecordings of Johns already fantastic solo songs.

Between John's solo tunes and the 4 new ND songs (with more to come I am sure), We are already up to a full album's worth.
I feel excited about the future with ND again.

He is great. A nice guy too. His tunes are an acquired taste too. Mellow to slightly up tempo mellow.
But his lyrics are slam bang!

Ok, I have not downloaded the ones being posted here yet. I have them from several years ago. My question is this -
Are the one's that they are putting up on the sight the same recordings or did the band re-record the songs?

And your reply here is exactly what Fox News and the White House do too. They want to coerce. And they too, do succeed far too often.
People aren't prepared to do critical thinking on either side of an issue. They want to be spoon fed. And that's what sucks most of all. Willing, blissful ignorance.

The government does not have to buy off the mass media because, anyone who proposed a theory (or evidence for that matter) counter to the government line being towed, is discredited and labeled extreme or out of touch.
By labeling any dissenting voice as such, it makes even clear evidence dismissable by a mass majority who only get their information from the top or the immediate surrogates (Fox n

slightly more than 50 percent of the voting public, which is about 50 percent of the actual public. On record, that makes it about 26 percent in his favor. And that's discounting voting tampering and other corruptions yet to come to light.

Shallow talk from a shallow man.
Not just him, but mostly all politicians will say what they think people want to hear, and most people will take that lip service for fact, then only realize far too late that none of the talk came to be.

Here's a thought:
Play all songs from SO HAPPILY UNSATISFIED, have your soundboard guy record them, then release them as your next album - live
That would stick it to Sony for screwing you guys out of a masterpiece album that would have been a huge hit.

I've seen and read about new songs from John, and people having heard them. But I don't know where to find them. I've checked the JH site, but it still seems to be down. Where did you guys get these new songs?
Thanks
