Not that Im any musical genius.. or any kinda of genius for that matter, but I think you can take any solo JH or BD song and put it into a Nine Days set and it would fit right in.
If I had to take a guess, I would say the benefit of doing your own songs is that you dont have to take input or changes of the song from anyone else. It just lessens the overhead.

Im not a fan of paying $15 for a ninedays show.
But yea, CLEARLY.. we are going..
If there aren't going to be any ND shows in the fall, then I AT LEAST expect:
a) A drunken Desveaux show in NYC somewhere
or
b) a very serious, thought provoking, Hampson show somewhere on Long Island.
or
c) a combination of both at the same time

odds are not looking good.
Your best bet would be to plead with Brian to do a solo acoustic show sometime that week. Solo Desveaux shows are good times.. everyone hangs out.. drinks.. Brian goes up there.. plays about 4 songs from his set list and then asks if anyone has any requests.
