Says a lot that we all like different songs. I am shocked though that people like "Through with You" as much as "Worth Fighting For."
I have to listen to it for a few more months to decide for sure, but it just might be my favorite NineDays song of all times.
The first two NineDays songs that I really liked were "Behind an Old Blue Vase" and the original version o

Whatever. If the right people had the right connections, they could make it happen. If WLIR were still around, they would probably have the guys on the radio playing live and start playing the songs right away.

I think "Worth Fighting For" is worth fighting for... Does anyone know how we can try to flood the radio stations with requests? Would the radio stations have access to the song?

This is my ranking:
1) Worth Fighting For
2) A Girl in California
3) Suddenly
4) Brand New Me
5) New Shoes
6) Just As Through With You
Any other opinions?

John,
The CD was missing in my shipment that arrived today?! I just got the new case along with two NineDays postcards. I am very bummed because I was dying to hear the new tunes. Please send me another disc. Let me know where I can send you my name and mailing address. Thanks!

I just ordered the new CD this morning. I would rather have more money going to the band instead of four dollars getting burned on shipping. It only costs about one dollar to send a CD first class mail and that would get to almost anyone in the US within one to four days.
Totally psyched to get the new CD though and I am glad that John is changing the shipping options because that will boost sa

Great song! This is definitely a radio-play worthy tune! Gets back to the roots of what made the band famous - uptempo with a great chorus with John and Brian blending vocally as they do so well, with a nice acoustic touch as well. I would have liked to hear the little guitar riff right at the beginning of the song as well - maybe on the acoustic there.
The song did make me worry that John is g

I would go with the best of the old and a new song thrown in every third song or so. You have to keep your old fans happy with the old favorites, but you have to work enough new stuff into the set to have a future.
And while you are asking for opinions:
1) I prefer the old version of "Crazy" over the Madding Crowd version.
2) Tell Jeremy to bust out the saxophone - he's awesom

Way to go Brian! This song totally kicks ass! My favorite Brian tune since "Bitter" (which is my all-time favorite NineDays song). "Suddenly" should be playing on the radio!!

So friggin' awesome!! I thought I would never see another NineDays gig or buy a new NineDays ever again. So psyched!! Thanks John!

John, this is truly great news! That sucks about Jeremy though - having the entire original band together would have been magical. But you guys will, of course, still kick ass!! Maybe Brian should break out the Strat and you should break out your Tele like in the good ol' days. Rock on!!

I think it's a big mistake to slowly lose the fans that are still hanging on from the "Absolutely" days. That may have been a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I have done my own recording work and I know that it is tough. I am just saying that it should not take years and years. If John is ditching music and going to school to study for a new career, that's great. I just thin

Forget all of the tweaking and release some music!! We have been waiting and waiting!! What do you guys think? It's been what, about two years?

I'm going with the Bones45 answer. Makes sense. What can I say, I just keep hoping they'll get the band back together - including Jeremy.

Hey Bri, why did you add Vinny to the list? I thought Vinny was John's drummer.

Has anyone ever thought about the fact that John's new band (that includes Vinnie on drums) really just replaces Brian and Nick? So what's wrong with Brian and Nick?

Am I missing out on an inside joke about this? What's the scoop?
One of my favorite lines from that song:
"You're incompetant, inconsiderate, you're so childish..."
A chick totally burned me a couple of years ago and I cranked the **** out of this song for about a month whenever I was in the car.

Brian,
I love your song "Bitter." You even played it for me by request at the show at the Jersey Fair a couple of summers ago.
I was just curious to know if you ever got any feedback on that song from the chick about whom you wrote it.
GREAT GREAT SONG!!
