But you bid higher than that on e-bay already last week?
No need to get bent about it, sorry.
I have two copies so I am selling one and I thought people here would want to know - no big deal...

The CD was never officially released!!
CD and cardboard sleeve case are in both in mint condition!!
A MUST-HAVE for any hardcore fans or those into collecting!!

Yes, I was there. I had my picture taken with John as well. He did lean out though rather than going on the table when I was there. He gave me the rabbit ears for the photo. That was a fun day though. I cannot believe it was so long ago!

I was at a Stop-n-Shop in Connecticut the
other day and I heard "If I Am" playing over
the store sound system!! I could not believe
my ears.
John, I hope that you are getting royalties
on that?!
I have also seen Nine Days songs on a
jukebox at a diner in Connecticut and I
have heard "Story of a Girl" used to advertise
TV shows and movies on TV.

Do the guys every play this tune? It is one of my
favorites off of "Monday Songs." I requested it at
a concert once and John looked at me with a
doubtful look as if he probably didn't remember
the tune.
Anyway it is a great tune with nice harmonies.

Wow, that is a harsh story. I fear that you may have blown it because you missed your chance to ask her out. If you track her down now, she may think you're nuts.
I say what the hell though, you might as well try!

Media Mail is a special low postal rate for "media" such as books, magazines, CDs, tapes, etc.
If you live in the New York, New Jersery and Connecticut area,
the "cheap rate" that Brian's manager offered will most likely
only take one or two days.
I would rather see Brian make some extra money on his CD, then
the stupid USPS.

Brian,
I am looking forward to your CD release! I do have
one suggestion, you should look into offering the
Media Mail rate for your CD mailing. It will probably only
cost about $1.25 if you send it via media mail and
that way you can boost your sales a lot by offering
a lower price (and/or raise the price of the CD a little
so you get the extra money instead of the post office).
Rock on!

What do you think John? Would it be a huge
pain in the ass to go back to your old site or
bring Jeremy in on designing a new look?
by GuitarPlayer1971

It goes back to the old saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
I bet Jeremy Dean was not involved in the graphic design
because he has great taste.
I guess they had to change it to show the new band members
and move past focusing on that one CD, but holy ugly Batman!
How about a nice live picture of the new band from the
Mercury Lounge or something?

I am sorry to say that I much prefer the look and functionality of John's old web site much better. (The one with his album cover picture by Jeremy Dean as the background.) This new one doesn't even fit the screen properly because of the e-mail subscription pop-up that comes up every time you hit "Enter" off of the first screen.

I have one of the "REAL" copies too. I got it through
a friend who has a nice connection at Sony. It has a
cool army green backbround with a nice picture of
the guys on the cover.

So there is no fee for registering? I also have to figure out how to convert my tunes from .wav to MP3.

I would go for the Boss BR-8. It is very easy to
use and you can buy it on e-bay for about $300.
It records onto zip discs, but you when you are
ready for the mixdown, you can send the signal
to your computer, create a wav. file and then
burn a CD.

Thanks! I have a version of "If I Am" too. And I have
a version of "Things We Said."

I liked your cover songs. Especially the nice guitar work on "Name."
Anyway, I was wondering how you go about posting your songs
online. What host did you use? And is there a fee? Thanks!

John, two quick questions:
1) What time do you go on at Arch Street tomorrow night?
2) Can you put me on your guest list for Arch Street? (Ron Wilson & Guest)
Thank you!!

John, can you please post what time you will be going on this Friday night in Greenwich. I am trying to get a group of CT people to go. Can't wait!

John has not played his tele out live in a long time. For the past couple of years he has played a wine red Gibson Les Paul Standard. At his last gig at the Mercury Lounge he was playing a Gibson SG.
I don't know what type of acoustic he plays with live, but it is red and thin and he has had it for at least the past two years.
Brian has not played that Fender Strat out live in years! He is
