Oh man,....John Mayer
I went to see him Bryant Park last week. It was free show for Sony.
It poured the whole time but it was so much fun.
Dido went on for about an hour with it lightning and thundering then john mayer came on after waiting in the down pour and said he would only play 4 songs b/c he didnt' want to die.
I'm not so happy with him at the moment. But it was still fun.

Re: GPA - 19 years ago
I'm working at the Queens Zoo in the education department.
Exactly what I planned and wanted to do. Then in Sept. I'm going to be working in Texas also doing the same thing.
Experience is the key not the GPA. Plus, I don't think you learn anything in school except how to cram and ace an exam. You forgot the material a week later. I really hate the whole education system

Hey cool....
I'm excited.
I wound up living in Thailand for six months. Then coming back after my best friend and roomate went a little psychotic on my one night after he got trashed. So I came back on April 4th. But haven't really felt like being involved in anything that I used to be.
So now I'm back, I missed the crazy donkey b/c of a grad. party. I was planning on going

Re: GPA - 19 years ago
Going through old posts....
I've been out of school for a little over a year now.
Just so you know, not one person has even asked for my GPA or a copy of my transcript.
So party it up, as long as you have a diploma with your name on it....no one cares.

I didn't say anything about there music be exactly the same but honeslty, i wouldn't be surprised if John Mayer studied all of Dave's signature stuff on stage. It's not that he talks between songs, everyone does that, it's what he says, it's how he says it.
I have a friend that is really really into music and knows alot and he always made fun of me for listening t

what did you think of him? I've never seen him live before and it really bothered me how he tries to be dave matthews. Everything about him is Dave, to the way he stands with his legs together while he plays his guitar to the nonsense he talks between songs.
He was really funny though before he sang "come back to bed" with the what's wrong nothing thing. I'm sure he

I forgot who told me this but it didn't coem from Brian so I don't know how accurate it is.
What I understand that it is, is that there was someone really shitty named Bobby Roe that they were dealing with to get a contract with or something like that. Someone in the business that gave them a hard time or screwed them over. So Brian wrote that song to basically jinx the guy.
Like I
