Hollywood Records is Diffuser's label - i would think john is just playing a solo show.

John Hampson acoustic gig

hey ninedays people,

hope you're all having a great summer! while i've been waiting
for the stars to align and allow us to release "So Happily...",
've been busy writing songs...alot of songs...for a change of pace,
i thought i'd get together with Charlie Drannbauer (Amazing Mustang
Boy guitarist/ninedays soundman) and play some acoustic shows...so,
to get my feet wet,i will be doing a 25 minute set of NEW songs...
not ninedays stuff,so be forewarned! but, i promise i'll try to
be really good...and i'll beat Charlie if he makes any 'uncool'
mistakes...heres the info:

if your a fan you will go.....see john play 25 minutes of brand new stuff or sit at home and play on the message board?

I'll be in the city that day, seeing "Nine" on Broadway (yayay jane krakowski!), so I'll go if I get home with enough time to get ready and drive out to Farmingdale by 8:40.

when SR-71 played youngstown diffuser opened the show here...well played before them...anyways...i was then a red head (gptta love hair dye) and yeah...the lead singer kept staring at me and all...and smiling...

so when i would see him online...he knew me sorta from that show...and he basically wants to sleep with me

wow, just cause youre a fan of a band doesnt mean because a member is having a solo show OMG YOU HAVE TO GO OR YOURE NOT A FAN. if you found out john was going to a grocery store at x time would you go stalk him because youre a "fan"? come on now, thats illogical..

why wouldnt you?? Serisouly. Its not even bout being a fan of a band? Being a fan of John period. Maybe Im different. If I were anywhere near New York id be there. For support if anything. Plus Id be stoked to hear what hes been upto. Hes been talking bout this new stuff hes been working on. Chill....The attitude on this board blows my mind.
