I think sum41 rocks! I have their newest two albums and love them both. By the way, they get their name because they formed the band on the 41st day of summer and not because of whatever you were talking about.

But you have the funnier explanation.

Either way.. they know how to rock hard.. especially a lot of their older stuff has a lot of 80's rock influence that I can actually stomach.

labels are for fake people...a label shouldnt be placed on music.Music is m usic and you should love it for the fact that it is good music and not cause "New Found Glory is so punk I wear black nail polish and braclets now"
so yeah thats my 2 cents.I am just a little bitter towards the scene lately because of bands like NFG and Simple Plan and Sum41

AFI's going to go out on a fall tour

or rather, they'll continue the tour they're on now, i guess...

unfortunately they'll be playing with Autopilot Off, for reasons unknown, and they don't really tickle my pickle. they opened for Thursday when i saw them. nothing special.

but yes AFI tour this fall and i'll be there

autopilot off sucks

i was out of my punk/quasi-punk, stage a while ago.

but i still do have my lil 'punk attitude'.. every now and then i'll be found at a local punk show. chillin out at the back of the crowd.

but yeah i think you're talking about the right video/song... they're covered in grey paint what with the song being Girls Not Grey and all....

and yeah it's a good song but it really doesn't compare to their other stuff, and not just because it's a single. it really doesn't.

though The Leaving Song Pt II does a better job than Girls Not Grey
