ninedays recording a new album...
all,
hey there...heres a quick update, ok? "So Happily Unsatisfied" is still being held up...shocking, right? but, we arent waiting around anymore...ninedays will enter the studio next Thursday, August 14 to begin recording a new album...all new songs...we are doing this entirely on our own...no label...we are NOT going to allow anyone to control our music or our ability to get it to the people who want it...we are taking two weeks to record, mix and master this record (untitled, as of yet) and then it will take a month to package and press...so, late September...initially it will be available at shows and through the website only...we are looking into distribution deals, but again, not at the expense of holding it up...heres to new beginnings...i'll keep you updated....thanks.

hmmm....the store where i work is part of a corporate monster, but we used to sell indies from local artists....maybe ill look into it. that would help a little, right?
oh, and how exciting is this?

So, the paperwork from the record company failed, so now you still won't earn money... how sad! If I win the lotto, you'll get the money, haha.
yay how exciting. but aaahhhhh august 14th. evil exam results day! eeekkkk!

the funny thing is that my mom asked me about whats up with the band the other day and i told them theyre still in the mess with the new album and sony and all....
but this makes my day...my 12 hr work day is now this much better because of a new nine days album (btw--yes i am a workoholic well for the remains of the summer)

I e-mailed John.....John Micelli, the guy that played at the downtown show

I had no internet connection earlier, but I recieved a few phone calls about this earlier and I just gotta say Hell, fucking, yes. It's kinda similar to Butch Walker (Haha I don't MEAN to keep plugging him... only that once) down to the "raw, acoustic filled, rock record" part.

Alright Johnny boy! I would imagine there might be some 'angry" stuff on there considering what's been going on over the past year.
