I was at the john mayer concert tonight and some guy walked up to me and asked me if i was lost...i was like no get away from me weirdo...

that had nothing to do with anything but it seemed to fit so yeah

what did you think of him? I've never seen him live before and it really bothered me how he tries to be dave matthews. Everything about him is Dave, to the way he stands with his legs together while he plays his guitar to the nonsense he talks between songs.

He was really funny though before he sang "come back to bed" with the what's wrong nothing thing. I'm sure he did that at your show too.

I didn't say anything about there music be exactly the same but honeslty, i wouldn't be surprised if John Mayer studied all of Dave's signature stuff on stage. It's not that he talks between songs, everyone does that, it's what he says, it's how he says it.

I have a friend that is really really into music and knows alot and he always made fun of me for listening to john mayer the dave wanna be. I always said no, no, no. But now after that show I feel kinda silly. John Mayer's music is great but he needs his own style and stage presence.

I thought he was good...I like John Mayer a lot and i dont really like dave matthews at all...(gets ready for ppl to throw things at her) Iv seen dave in concert and found him much more boring than John...i guess there are similaritys but at the same time there are so many bands that are similar that are still good...but i dont feel that hes copied him...i can see what you mean though...

i have never heard about or noticed a Dave Matthews/John Mayer connection ...now that it's brought up, i'll think about it

Johns playing was a lot better than i was expecting before i got there...i was definately suprised at how good he was...and side note anyone that writes a song saying that your body is a wonderland is a genius...

yea for real is no doubt still a band?
