matchbox twenty album poll
alright, let's start a MB20 poll... yourself or someone like you, mad season or more than you think you are - what's your favorite MB20 album?
mine's mad season. definitely.
mad season cos its the 1st one i got
yourself or someone like you
"I'm tryin hard 2 breathe now, but theres no air in my lungs, theres no1 here 2 talk 2, n the pain inside is makin me feel numb"
More Than You Think You Are because it's the only one i have.
Rock On
shouldn't this be going on at a MB29 forum?
i noticed a lot of ninedays fans are MB20 fans, so i figured i start it here. plus there was already a thread on MB20, and i don't go on the MB20 message board. the ninedays message board is more fun!!!

4 for mad season
1 for yourself or someone like you
1 for more than you think you are
let's keep those votes coming, folks. i'm glad that mad season is off to a good start.
I'd say more than you think you are since that's the only one I have... hehe. No I have Mad Season I think but never really listened to it.. it's a burned copy from a friend. But judging from the radio songs, I'd say the last album is the best.

i loved bright lights when i first heard it ...then i found an extended performence of it on launch
then, i see that the extended song is on the music video ...yay! lol

I think yourself or someone like you, common, remember 3am, Push, Long Day, real world? Yes they were singles, but big singles to, incredibally catchy!
I don't mind their new one either, Unwell is such a damn good song...I think MB20 is guilty of putting a lot of filler into their albums.

5 for mad
3 for yourself
2 for more
I'm bored... soooo I'm gonna talk about MTYTYA. Or a part of it.. I think it's annoying when CDs have the hidden tracks. 'Cause then if you wanna listen to just the song before it, on repeat, you really can't without hearing the other one first. It's annoying.
And then the Michelle Branch CD has this old, .. some kind of weird song/sound at the end, so I can't put that song or the CD on repeat without having to hear that.. lol.
Yeah.. I'm bored if you can't tell.

i don't know about hidden songs. it depends on the song. here are some albums with hidden songs at the end:
- the beatles' sgt.pepper's lonely hearts club band (i think it was the first
album with a hidden song/sound)
- green day's dookie
- the benjamins' the art of disappoinment
- and i do enjoy the hidden songs the last two matchbox twenty albums (mad season with an orchestral instrumental piece and more than you think you are with one of the best songs on the subpar album)
Hmm.. I dunno if it's one of the best songs on there, there's others I like better.. I'd rather just have it be a whole different track than a hidden one.

i'm listening to more than you think you are right now, and i'm on downfall. the gospel singing in it is so ridiculous! however, after listening to the album again, i do enjoy it more. still, mad season ranks supreme with yourself or someone like you following it.
Yeah, i don't like the gospel singing either, it totally ruins the song... which i otherwise really enjoy.

personally, i like the gospel choir in Downfall, sorta adds something
i liked that they tried something creative with the song
~Ryan~
i agree, adding the gospel part is creative and i'm all for creativity, but it is just very out of place in that song. the image of whoopi goldberg wearing a nun outfit immediately entered my mind when i first heard it.
